Laco Crumbs and TechnologieCentrum Noord-Nederland TCNN
The TechnologieCentrum Noord-Nederland (TCNN) [link: tcnn.nl] was founded specifically to provide support to entrepreneurs in the Northern Netherlands in answering and solving a wide variety of questions and problems relating to technological, business and economic issues. The Chamber of Commerce in the Northern Netherlands, NOM, Syntens and TCNN have made agreements for further collaboration and the optimum use of each other's specialisms in an endeavour to elevate their services to an even higher level. The TechnologieCentrum Noord-Nederland also makes use of the knowledge available in the northern Netherlands.
Laco Crumbs maintains contacts with knowledge institutions via TCNN for collaboration in innovative development programmes. For example, Laco Crumbs has carried out a number of projects with Van Hall Larenstein, part of the University of Wageningen and specialised in Life Sciences [link: 5.3.1]. Laco Crumbs also has connections with the Deutsches Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik e.V. [link: http://www.dil-ev.de], or DIL, an industrial research institute for product development, process optimisation and quality control in the food industry. DIL is, by virtue of its extensive collaboration with universities and participation in European and global research networks, a reputed partner which achieves successful results.
