Tempura batters can be used with fried foods to create a crumbly crisp coating without breadcrumbs. This coating is ideally suited to soft base products such as fish, vegetables and fruit.

Excellent freeze-thaw stability

However, tempura batters also offer other benefits. The excellent freeze-thaw stability of tempura batters makes them ideal for fish products that are pre-fried, frozen for transport and storage, and then finish-fried prior to consumption. Moreover, the short preparation time retains much of the vitamins in vegetables and fruit.

Our tempura batters are available as universal mixes or customised mixes for specific customers.
