Laco Crumbs has a variety of types of wheat at its disposal via its sister company, Koopmans Meel B.V. This natural partnership is based on the use of the wheat grain to mix special flours that can play a role as a binder or coating for numerous products. Koopmans Meel has two groups of wheat, soft wheat and hard wheat. Koopmans Meel and Laco Crumbs combine their knowledge in using these high-grade types of wheat to prepare unique solutions for coated foods.
Structure and texture of ragout and sauces
The wheat is processed to prepare a range of types of wheat flour. These wheat flours largely determined the structure and texture of ragout and sauces and excel, in particular, when (cold) thickening and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel are required. In addition, since the products possess the viscosity and wheat proteins required to guarantee optimum bonding they are first-class ingredients.
